Make formulas in the second file which reference the first file. For example if you want cells A1 through A100 to be the same as A1 through A100 of the first file, do this:

Have both files open. In the second file, select cell A1, type = on the formula bar, then click on the first file and click on cell A1, then hit Enter. Now cell A1 in the second file has a formula which refers to A1 in the first file. Copy and paste down through A100. Now whatever you enter in cells A1 through A100 in the first file, will also be in cells A1 through A100 of the second file.
