On Friday I came home from school with what I think is the stomach flu that night I through up I havent threw up since but I havent ate anything but water ginger ale and popsicles. I am slightly hungry. I tried to eat soup but got sick too my stomach although I didnt throw up. What should I eat all of the websites say the same things that I try but can't stomach. Water isn't keeping me fulll either.

Try some crackers and plain boullion or broth. Warm, sugary tea can also help the stomach. Make certain that the gingerale is not too cold, and don't add ice to it--or to your water. I would cut out the popsicles--again, because too cold is not good.

You can try drinking some water with baking soda added (see box for amount) to calm the stomach.

Saltine Crackers, 7 up (it helps with upset stomach), chicken noodle soup or chicken broth if soup doesn't cooperate with your stomach, this is going to sound weird but I like to eat original Cheerios dry when I've got the flu. Oh and try to not be around anyone who is eating hot dogs, eggs, anything with tomatoes, garlic, or onions in it...you'll throw up again.

try eating soups like cambell's cream of soup(or any other creamy soup),broth, jello, or pudding. crackers are also something to consider.

try the brat diet, bananas,rice,applesauce and toast in small amounts, thats what i used to do for my kids, the toast should be dry and crackers too
