Alexander Valley Gewurztraminer is nice. 7.99 a bottle at bevmo
Fetzer Valley Oaks Gewurztraminer is decent as well at 6.99 a bottle

Germany is more known for their Riesling as far as I know. those would also be more on the dry side than the sweet side.

If you're just starting with makeup, I would start with drugstore before you go to high end brands like Mac or Nars just because then you can experiment with it and learn without having to pay a ton for it. I would recommend anything from Maybelline. I think their makeup is really great and I often use it over my more expensive stuff. I'd start out simple with foundation, concealer, powder, and mascara. Then build on it later with blush, eye liner, and eye shadow and such

In my opinion, one of the best domestic Gewuratraminers is from the Chateau Ste Michelle winery near Seattle.

I have also had a couple pretty good Gewurztraminers from New Zealand - I think one was from Sefried Estate.

Yes, Sumac Ridge, or any BC Gewurtz would be a great choice. Quail's Gate has a good one, too.

They aren't really serious wines. You may want to avoid some of the sweeter ones (brush up on your German), but I wouldn't worry about the brand too much.
