You'll need a TV to PC Converter. They are a little converter box, usually run between $75 - 150 depending on the brand.

The reason is that the PC has a much higher resolution than a standard CRT Monitor. It has to up-convert in order to get a good signal, and a standard cable won't be able to accomplish the up-convert.

Good Luck!

You almost certainly need an adapter or even converter box. This all depends on the type of input on the monitor (VGA, composite, component). You'll need to go from SCART to whatever the input on the monitor is. For instance, if your monitor takes VGA input, you need to get from SCART to VGA via adapter or breakout cable. I would imagine the DVD player came with a SCART cable that breaks into something else at the other end. Use that to determine how to get into your monitor.

You can get a converter to plug the dvd player into the monitir, depending on what type of monitor it is to what type of adapter you need. You may be just as well off to *** a dvd player to your computer if it does not have one because they are cheap mow, or get a tv tuner card that will let you plug it in there and watch it through your computer.

It 's not good idea and it will never work.DVD player for PC is input device. Monitor for PC is output device,so you can't connect one to another. All connections go through PC. It means you connect DVD player to computer input and on monitor as computer output you watch movie. Read DVD player manual for more wiring information.

You need a scart to vga convertor plug to convert the video. For audio the two (left and right channels) rca plugs require another converter to one single stereo phone jack which is plug to the computer audio input (green socket).
