Yup.
I am afriad that the waste is not suitible for recycling, the material is considered to be too contaminated. Remember that people have to hand sort through the recycling that comes into a transfer station. Would you be willing to open up a nappy and route through it?
Also the absorbant core is non recyclable same as a lot of hard plastics and such.
The cost of removing the sceptic waste of excrement and urine from the nappy would be astronomical and remember that recycling and the sale of waste recyclables is a business.
Also did you know that when a sceptic tank or portable toilet is emptied that the waste is sold and processed for use as fertilizer for human food.
Hope this helps.
Welcome my friend to the disgusting world in which we live.

Yes of course it is - what else are you to do with it!
The only way to make an energy saving on a nappy is to incinerate it to create electricity - but thats a wholley different debate.
There have been full considered life cycle assessments of nappies, particularly which are the most environmentally friendly and the consenses is that it doesn't make a difference - this is from a report that was comissioned by the Environment Agency not pampers or whoever go to the link below if you don't believe me.

i think its a disgrase how many nappies are dumped, it doesnt matter so much about the content it all rots down in the end but we just shouldnt be dumping so much.
I know that there are more environmentally friendly alternatives to disposable nappies that are pretty cheap and easy to use which would reduce the amount of waste we landfill. 4% of all the landfill waste is actually made up of disposable nappies!!!!!!

where did u think they went? its ok just think about it: up till the age of around 2-3 years old a baby will get cahnged around 3-4 times a day, these nappies take around 100years to dispose properly, thats a lot of poo and waste! and a long time to dispose. no wonder y there are massive land field sites. but its ok just start taking all this waste and fill up leicester in uk. not a nice place, smells the same, and close to motor ways for dumping. sorted!

call the wellness branch and the police. Dumping human waste is unlawful. If this is easily human waste, they're going to be dealing with heavy fines and specific penitentiary time, and intensely like the wellness branch will close them down.
