... you and your friend are in a club and your friend talks to one guy while you dance with and snog another guy. Your mate leaves the guy she was with outside the club and you and your guy who you snogged and your mate walk to the otherside of town for a taxi early Saturday morning. You give the guy you snogged your number and he sends you a text 20 mins later still drunk but wished you a safe trip home. Saturday night he texts you again saying sorry if his first text made you think he was odd but he was drunk. You reply on Sunday saying that you were so drunk you dont remeber much but thanks for walking to the taxi with me. He replies and says no problem and asks you out for a drink or movie sometime. Would you go out with him?

Hell yeah, if he texted you the next day when he was sober then he obviously doesn't regret it! If you like the guy the definitely give it a try! Good luck!

He was probably thinking in other things at the time he wrote the message. If you like him have a drink or just a coffee. Just an advice is better if you think about how the guy is before and not after you snog him.

I guess the real question is how into him your were. If you liked him-- trying to get to know him on a sober level would be worth it. Of course meet in a public space without drinks to see if your feels are the same sober as they are when you're drunk. He does sound like a good guy... although he does seem a little clingy. If clingy bugs you maybe this guy isn't for you.

I would but i'd have reservations. I wouldn't have thought anything of the first text but the one the following morning was a bit wierd. He shouldn't have pointed out that he was odd! Worth a second look though.

Yeh..go for it! If he had the decency to text u a couple of times, then yeh...he's worth checkin out!
You wudnt hav snogged some ugly loser ...so u obviously liked sumthing about him anyway!

Yeh - I would go out with him. It was good of him
to walk you and your mate to a taxi. Its not safe for
guys on their own now.
If you worry so much why do you give your mobile number
out? I always got the guys number just in case I didn,t
want to see him again.
If you can remember him go out - you could always ask
for your mate and his to go with you.

Find out more about him first because you both were drink and barely remember anything that happened that night. I would hate to find out he's crazy or something.
