i am 13 and this guy i like is sixteen. he is really nice and funny and he is not the crazed version of a sixteen year old. yesterday my friend asked him out for me and he said maybe. i dont think hes to old but is he?

3 year difference may seem alot when you're young, but let's say is 46 year old and 43 year old doesn't....go for it!

To a 13 year old he is much too old. It is only three years but emotionally it could be 10. Even at 16, a 19year old is too old. But when u are 20, a 23 year old is ok. For you have more maturity.

It's not so much as he's to old but your to young, I'm sorry but in my opinion you are definitely to young to be going out. Wait till your at least 15~16's better~17's even better, but please wait till you're a little older.
3 years wouldn't matter if you were both older & more mature. But when you're teenagers, yes, it matters a lot. My husband is 8 years older than I am but I was 22 when we started dating. I was 24 to his 32 when we got married. So no age doesn't matter so much when you're adults but it matters a lot when you are a teenager!!

At that age he is TOO old for you. And if he goes out with a 13 year old, there's something wrong with him.

if ur 13 and he is 16 its ok, age dont matter, what matters is if you both like each other. age dont mater now it does but when ur older then it doesnt mater im 13 too. the only thing that matters is if you both love each other.
