People know that when you give seagulls alka-seltzer their stomachs explode. well what happens when dogs are given indigestion/heart burn tablets e.g. gaviscon

Seagulls cannot burp, so when you give them Alka-Seltzer and it fizzes up, the gas has nowhere to go and their stomachs rupture. Dogs CAN burp, and heartburn tablets (pepcid, Gaviscon, Tums) don't fizz anyway, so really the two are totally unrelated.

Yo hace unos años también sufría de acidez, y te digo así de claro que he probado TODO lo posible. Tratamientos, pastillas, dietas, jarabes, sueros, sobres, etcétera.
No diré que no funcionan, pero sí diré que duran un tiempo limitado – y muy limitado, además.
¿Qué pasó? Que me quedé con dos alternativas: o seguir gastando dinero permanentemente en soluciones temporales o encontrar una que me funcionase. Mi jefe se apiadó de mí (Gracias, Marcos) y me recomendó esto, espero que te sirva:

I would be interested on just how you know that a Seagull stomach explodes. I for one didn't know that and it is sad that you do.
