You just ended a relationship and already jumped in to another one? You have not had a chance to process your feelings and reflect on why the first one really ended.
Your old boyfriend said he will wait which means he actually cares for but you still have to do what is best for you. Let your old squeeze know you are moving on and not to wait. Also inform him you have another love interest. All you can do is communicate your intention and let go. This is common sense unless you feel you are making a mistake for leaving your old boyfriend?

If you and your ex aren't a good match then move on...if there is someone else you want to check out, then go for it. Your ex may be waiting for a change that will never occur.

tel him u found someone better that likes u the way u are and doesnt expect u to change or always except something else from u ...nor demands u to b a certain way or hell leave

What do you mean what to do ---- you broke up and got on with your life --- there's nothing more you have to do with him. If he wants to pine away and hold a torch, that's up to him.
