If it is just one email then just delete it and get on with life. If someone is continually harassing you then report them to Yahoo. But honestly I don't know that Yahoo will do anything. They would probably tell you to turn off your email option. I mean seriously....if you have email turned on then what do you expect? Yes I get some great emails from nice people but I also get hate mail from christians. Some are funny and I have them saved for later "use". But most I just delete and move on with more comments here on R&S.

I don't see how being told about hell is hateful.... I certainly can't understand why you would find this threatening. But I know that some people on this forum are overzealous and go to extremes in their language. This is not just Christians. What about the atheist guy who just posted vulgarities about Jesus? Anyway, if you feel someone has treated you unfairly on here, click the "report abuse" link. Not that Yahoo is good at dealing with reported abuse, but it's better than nothing.

i've got concept approximately this to. there grow to be a believer the different day that grow to be mocking atheist human beings via calling April fools day their day through fact the guy mentioned that a fool says in his heart that there is not any God. i did no longer sense undesirable that he grow to be misrepresenting the gospel as much as I felt undesirable that persons have been being degraded. I questioned if I ought to step in like I even have performed earlier yet I wasn't particular if I ought to shop doing that. i think of that it may be greater powerful if a number of of those question weren't replied yet on the different hand extremely some the responses would have made the guy think of. You ask why the style of habit is displayed? i'd say it relatively is the two through fact the guy is hating or they're attempting to pay lower back evil for evil, the two way that's despicable. i do no longer understand if there is relatively a answer for this or no longer. Edit: I purely study your occasion. perchance you need to placed up that question. i think of now a days each physique is kicking the vulnerable or wounded .it relatively is ashame while each physique is hurting like that to have such impolite comments.

Hey, be happy. You could be living when Christians were barbecuing people. When Christians were "Baptizing" then working Native Americans to death. When Christian Missionary societies were giving used blankets from small pox hospitals.

If you look at what they write closely you begin to understand they are writing from their own personal Hell. I believe the psychologists call it "transference."

Now, this is not all Christians, but the closer some Christians get to the truth about themselves, the twisted ones try to transfer their fears to others.

I get those emails all the time. The one thing that you should not do is respond rationally with pointed concepts and arguments. You are arguing with someone who believes in illogical things so being logical in your part of the discussion is a waste of time.
I find the easiest thing to do is simply curse them out. Then when they respond asking why you are writing such hateful things, you reply "I'm not the one that started this conversation. If you do not like the way I talk, do not email me".
-Or, on the occasions when they do stoop to your deliberate level of anger, simply reply to them by saying "...well that is a very Christian attitude".

BTW there's an H in Christians (sorry to be picky, it's one of MY weaknesses I guess)... I agree, many professed Christians think far too much of the "hell" aspect of things, and never mention all the positive uplifting and happy parts of following God's lead. If you encounter these people, just ignore them.

Show them that you're better at following Jesus' teachings than they are and turn the other cheek. Ignore them, put their addresses on your ignored list, mark it as spam... if it gets really bad, contact Yahoo! If you're being harassed, they have to do something about it. Remember, harassment is a crime.

well first of all you can spam them and not receive emails from them. if that doesn't work for you, you can tell them politely that..."we see life differently and that is fine. everyone is different and that is what makes us special." if that doesn't work you can try ignoring them, or saying "god gave us the privilege to have free will. in that he will be the one that has something to say about it to me, and gives you no right to throw a stone when you should be looking in the mirror and say, 'thou shalt not judge others.'" LOL i have no problem with God, i do however have my share of problems with his "FAN" clubs.
