my cat is curled up in the bathroom sink sound asleep! Why would he want to sleep there instead of a nice soft bed?

If your house is too warm, he may sleep there just because it feels cooler. However, some cats just like the idea of a secure spot that fits a cat's size just right.

He probably likes to sleep there, because it's a nice cool place. This is very common in cats, mostly becuase they like to curl up when they sleep, and the sink works very well for this.

He in all threat likes to sleep there, by using fact it incredibly is a superb cool place. that's amazingly difficulty-loose in cats, often becuase they desire to twist up whilst they sleep, and the sink works very properly for this.

My cat does this too, but will get mad if you DON'T turn the water on. Cats have the attitude that pretty much everything in your house is put there just for them. Your cat has found a nice little cubby hole to nap in, and yes it is cooler on their skin.

Cats have a thing with sinks... so much so that there's a website dedicated to it.... www.catsinsinks.com lol. I honestly don't know what attracts them but I often find mine dozing off in the sink.

Mine does it in the bathroom sink with the water dripping on her. Cools her down

Cats like the coolness of the ceramic feel. My cat loves the tub, he sits and lays in it all the time.

My cat did that for a while...I think they like it because it is cool and the shape is comforting because it is a bit deep and surrounds them. They like to be cuddled. I think that's why they prefer boxes too or small baskets....they will squeeze their bodies into the smallest of these!

when it's warm weather, or if the house is really warm, my cats do that sometimes, too. or they like to stretch out in the bathtub. I think it's just because it feels nice and cool.

cats are so random! as long as the tap doesnt come on he will be ok!
