Continental drift has been proven. I think it is cool that you can put them all together like a puzzle. I had never heard of the poles changing positions. Googled it and I guess it could happen? Some Danish scientists think so....see attached website.

Paleomagnetic studies of fossil magnetism in contenential rocks have provided evidence of relative motion between techtonic plates and Earth's magnetic poles through time. The north magnetic pole at the time of a rock's formation can be determined by carefully measuring fossile magnetism. This evidence allows for the development of the polar wandering curve. There is enough scientific evidence to prove that this is indeed true.

There was actually a geological survey which suggests that every millions of years or so, the poles would shift and switch places with one another.
Its amazing to think in our day of age what the earth Can do.
weird thinking about it
cheers

it is a scientifical fact that the poles change periodically, and that the land masses are floating on the earths mantle, rocks have been found withe the molecules magnetized in the oppisite direction as today, and the earths crust is slowly moved from one end to the other under abduction faults/zones,and that their is new crust being formed from the ocean depths

Yes I do...maybe even sooner than millions of years. It's just shift a few degrees and not flip flops.
