then he starts changing the subject.....
does that mean that he doesn't feel the same way about me?

Did you ever think that maybe he likes you more than as a friend??
He may have changed the subject so quickly because he does not want to show you his true feelings in case you reject him. Then again he is a guy, and like most guys do, he might not like to talk about "mushy stuff" so he has changed the subject.
It does not mean that he does not feel the same way so don't worry chick.

I'm sorry, but if he felt the same way he probably would have taken that opportunity to tell you so. But then again, he is a high school boy, and none of them know what they want or how to talk to girls.

Guys are generally very "kept together" when it comes to feelings and friendships! Unlike us chicks, we can go on all day telling each other how much we love each other and what great friends we are! You do get the ocational guy who will express this part of him, but generally no. My best friend is a guy but he never says so, we know we are best buds but he wont say it much! Dont stress luv...

Don't push him to say stuff he don't mean cuz it will be u who gets hurt!!!! if he feels the same he will tell u in his own way u know him better than us. Remember he is a teenage boy

He let you down in a very nice way. Accept his friendship. He doesn't want to be more than your friend. Be glad he didn't freak out and that he took it so well and move on.

from only my point of view i don't think he thinks the same way about you, me might like you as a friend and such but he probably didn't know how to react to that. . . but who knows maybe he was just being shy you'll never know until he tells you

this boy really likes u, trust me.but telling him that hes your best friend is like telling him that u an him can only be friends .u need to tell him straight that he should tell u how he really feels about u an that u will listen.an if u do like him tell him too

Nah he might be thinking of it give it a week or so and if he starts to show signs of you also being his BFF and if not don't worry you got other guys.
