I went into one at Greenwich today, they would not give me a gift though, is this fair?

I had some mad woman at my till yesterday wanting a refund for the car park (you get it back if you spend £5) she hadn't brought a ticket as she was in a disabled spot.!

That's nothing... the other day a restaurant refused to cash the lunch check for me! In fact they wanted ME to give THEM money.
