Tylenol is the absolute most dangerous over the counter drug in your pharmacy. In prescribed amounts it is a wonderful pain killer with few in the way of side effects. Large amounts, with or without alcohol, and assuming you don't barf them up, the chemical will literally melt your liver, and there is no antidote. Once the damage is done in an amount to cause liver failure, there is no recourse than a liver transplant, and that is not given to attempted suicide victims.... Be very careful with Tylenol. do not leave it around for children.

Acetaminophen is between the main usually used over the counter discomfort relievers and fever-reducers. it is likewise present day jointly with many over the counter and prescription drugs, which includes Tylenol chilly, Darvocet, Tylenol #3, and Percocet. Acetaminophen is metabolized (processed) by ability of the liver. while too lots acetaminophen is taken, the traditional liver-processing device will become overwhelmed, and the liver makes use of a 2d processing device. This 2d processing device, regrettably, turns the acetaminophen right into a very poisonous substance that critically damages the liver. initially usually only nausea/vomiting/sweating, then no different indications for twenty-four hours. At 24-40 8 hours, liver harm occurs, that may deliver approximately top bigger quadrant belly discomfort, jaundice (yellow epidermis) or icterus (yellow eyes), confusion, coma, kidney failure, and loss of life.

The tylenol causes liver damage, eletrolyte, and acid/base disorders. It is not the kind of death where one just "falls asleep." It is long...several days to months...and very painful. Many folks survive, only to be permanently disabled. Some die. It is not the romantic idea of suicide that a lot of people have. It is also a horrible and disfiguring accident when not done on purpose.

A major metabolite of acetaminophen/paracetamol is toxic to the liver. This overdose has become a leading reason for liver transplants, but of course that isn't always possible, so some live a miserable life with liver failure and some die.

YOU WOULD DIE A SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH. TYLENOL (ACETEMINOPHEN) KILLS THE LIVER. IT WOULD TAKE A LONG WHILE. YOU WOULD PROBABLY DEVELOPE A SEVERE CASE OF NON ALCOHOLIC CIRRHOSIS AND THEN YOUR BODY WOULD BLOW UP WITH ALL KINDS OF TOXINS SINCE YOUR LIVER CANNOT FILTER THEM OUT. YOU WOULD LOOK IKE A WALKING BLOWFISH THEN EVENTUALLY THEN REST OF YOUR BODILY FUNCTIONS WOULD SHUT DOWN AND THEN YOU WOULD DIE.
SO, IF YOUR ARE LOOKING FOR A FAST WAY OUT, TYLENOL AINT THE ANSWER. IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU NEED TO SUFFER FOR SOME REASON, THEN THAT WOULD BE THE WAY. HOPE THIS ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION.

Obviously you could die. Most end up having their stomachs pumped, only to die years later from liver damage caused by the overdose. Don't do it, seek help TODAY!

Most likely, you would not die, but you would damage your liver to some point, sometimes very badly where you need a liver transplant.
