Hiay my natural colour is a kinda darkish ginger, iv died it blonde loads of time, but was bored of it so i decided to go brown but it went black! so i put a blonde dye over the top. it went lightish brown and looked really nice but then to my horror it turned a dark green! someone told me to put ketchup on it. but it didnt work and so far iv washed and conditioned it everyday which got some of it out but not all of it, so then someone said to but baking soda mixed with shampoo on it. does anyone know if this will work i dont want to muck up my hair anymore, please tell me if you have any good suggestion on getting green out! thanx xx

I've heard that mashing an aspirin (not Tylenol) in water and rinsing through hair takes the greenish tint out of swimmers hair- perhaps the same thing will work in your situation. It's a dirt cheap process to test out.

Well, when I dyed a part of my hair pink, my grandmother apparently asked her hairstylist what I could do to get it out faster, and she told her that I could try mixing a bit of baking soda into my shampoo. I never tried it, because I really didn't want the pink gone, but it seems like it wouldn't hurt for you to try. I don't think it would do any real damage to your hair [but don't rely entirely on me--I'm not a professional], and if you're really desperate to get the dye to fade, then I'd say go for it.

My sister dyed her hair recently dark blue with instructions. She had brown hair earlier and it did no longer come out as in intensity, as she needed. She bleached it and dyed it lower back and now she's happy. in case you opt to get an incredibly in intensity green than you do no longer ought to bleach earlier yet once you like it in a appropriate way, than i'd propose it.

There is a special shampoo for swimmers that might work. I have blonde hair and if I go swimming in a pool with more chlorine than normal, my hair turns a bright green. Try RiteAid or a drug store near you. It might work. I'm sure it couldn't hurt.
Good Luck!
