I have spent almost a month of my spare time trying to unscrew my computer after installing Norton2007 and things are still messed up. Norton support is useless.

i had to get my computer rebuilt after instaling norton 2007 never again its rubbish

Norton admitted they had a problem with 2006 & seems they have the same issues with 2007,I sent my disc back for a refund & now use McAfee no problems so far.I have Windows XP Home edition.

I had Norton 2004 with no problems. Had 2006 and had nothing but problems.I had to reinstall it a half dozen times because of "corrupted" files. Now I'm using McAfee 2006, and have had no problems. Norton seems to have alot of problems. McAfee has online chat for free...

I've had norton 07 for a few months now. no problems, much stricter system scan. erm i would reccomend trying to remove all norton software then try re-installing it

My opinion, Norton sucks, best program and it;s free to boot is AVG Anti Virus, free daily or as needed updates that also scans e-mail, at www.grisoft.com look for the free version, has step by step instructions for installing

why not delete norton and intall AVG free,if you do delete
norton make sure you do a search by going to desktop then
search to files and folders type in norton then search there
will be about 10 files right click to delete. try the link below for
avg .

I agree that their support is rubbish!

But with Norton 2007 i havnt experianced no problems so far...
