Do they believe in Zeus? No? Check.
Do they believe in the Lord Krishna? No? Check.
Do they believe in Thor, Wodin and Frigga? No? Check.
Do they believe in Aphrodite? No? Check.
Do they believe in Yahweh of the Hebrews? Yes! Wow! I'm really impressed! So they are atheists about all the gods that other people think are real, but think that coincidentally only just the one they were raised to believe in exists. So Christians are 99.99% atheistic.

Let's be clear that neither Christians nor Judaists are monotheists. The ancient Hebrews were henotheists, accepting that many gods exist but just insisting that only one was top dog. True monotheism was held by the Egyptians under Ikhnaton, who (why am I not surprised) said he was it amd all others are fakes. When Christianity got cranked up, it cheerfully absorbed the polytheism of the Egyptian worshippers of Osiris and Isis (read: Jesus and Mary).

Let's focus on the topic, not the questioner, and don't try to dodge the issue by attacking people and denigrating personalities. Can any believer refute the assertion that he or she is an atheist with regard to all but one god? If that is admitted, then why should a believer get his knickers in a knot over the 100% atheist who says *all* the gods are imaginary?

if we believe in the one true God, we are theists
if we don't believe the other gods are the TRUE God, we simply are choosing which God we trust

So which one made everything? cuz really, it all comes down to one. Think about it, the Greek and Roman gods all have specific roles. People would look at a natural mystery, such as the changing of the seasons, or something else that no one could explain, and make up a legend of gods who were angry or jelous or lovesick, and use that to explain it. Today we know, that there is a true, proven scientific reasoning behind the changing of the seasons, and we would laugh in the face of anyone who tried to tell us it was because Hades was holding the beautiful goddess captive for a few months! However, the only LOGICAL explaination for how anything exists would have to be a higher being. Just one. Because, really, that One God would have created any others, which basically makes them lame sauce. God made you, does that make you a god? Absolutely not. Peace out.

I think you misunderstood what an atheist is. An athiest is someone who believes there is no God in existance. Here is the definition of an atheist from Wikipedia: Atheism is the disbelief[1] in the existence of any deities.[2] It is contrasted with theism, the belief in a God or gods. Atheism is commonly defined as the positive belief that deities do not exist. So go back and reevaluate your question.

When you put a in front of theism the word becomes a negative. i e No God.

God comes in many forms--but he is still GOD--Each person has an option to believe or become atheistic. If i choose GOD by FAITH HOW DOES THAT MAKE ME AN ATHEIST. Each person has a right to choose their god just as you have a right to be atheistic. Your question is nothing more than a shot-gun blast at something you refuse to understand.

Nope, Christians are believers in the Most High God, who owe their salvation to Jesus Christ and any understanting of the rest of existence to the Holy Spirit of a Trinity that is considered all the same God. It's like your head, your arm, and your foot are all considered "you". Christians are just people, trying to live life as best they can, just like anyone else.

just wanted to say the yahweh is not even a hebrew word. it's something xtians made up. they can't even comprehend our god without giving him human characteristics and emotions.

as far as jews are concerned, our torah says that all those gods are either the gods of other people (and in that case, ours was "better") or the same god but we all just gave it different names.

i know that their are a lot of close minded xtians out there, but there are at least some who believe in all the deities.

just put a most before xtian in that last statement and you will have made a very good point.

take care.

Yes they are Atheists in the sence that they dont believe in any god but their own. So you are totaly correct in assuming they are atheists.
I will tell you another thing they are, Decieved.
It is not their fault becouse they have been programmed to hold these beliefs i.e.( children).
The answer is to keep religion away from the kids when they are young, but we all know that will not happen. It is a sad world we live in and it is just that much worse when we have religion controlling the sheep.

Atheists believe that there is "no such thing as a God".
As Christians believe in a God, Atheists are (per definitio) no Christians

No Christians are not athiest, and many Christians do not know what they believe because ministers do not teach the Bible any more, ministers teach the doctrine that brings in the money to the church. For they love money not God; 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
All these gods you say maybe they are real and maybe they are not real, we do not care as Christians because our God says have no other god before him, but the Bible does say there are many gods in this world, both angels and men; James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exodus 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
Deuteronomy 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Deuteronomy 6:14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
Deuteronomy 11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
Deuteronomy 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
Joshua 24:14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
Judges 10:13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.
Why are all these referances to other gods if there are no other gods to serve, also this is by no means a complete list,
2 Kings 17:35 With whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:
Jeremiah 13:10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.
Daniel 2:11 And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.
So a Christian should say yes maybe there are hundreds or maybe thousands of other gods but none I serve but the Lord of Lords, God of Gods,King of kings,
Psalm 95:3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

And among all the other comments you received Christians do believe in all those that you listed. Not as gods but they are all listed in their demonology research, many as the fallen angels!
