I have an HD-Ready TV, and I would like to receive OTA HD channels, so if I connect an HD tuner to my tv through component cables will I still get the awesome picture of HD, or is a DVI/HDMI cable a must to get good HD picture? thanks!

I purchased an OTA digital HD tuner and get great results using the component input. The set top tuner I have is at http://www.dennysantennaservice.com/1669561.html

Well it all depends if your Cable box has HDMI and your tv does too I would use this, because the Hdmi cable will carry audio&video signals. Also it gives you more streams of color than component component gives you access to the hottest colors(RED,BLUE,GREEN) HDMI gives all the colors. One last thing Using HDMI will mean you will not have to use red&white rca's for sound...cutting the clutter of wiring...Good luck
