My ex dated my good friend and thing is i had still liked him. I stopped talking to him as much and began to move differently with him. Before he went with my friend we had a good relationship. Now he has tried to kiss me while with her asking me if i love him and I dont ever reply. I act as though he doesnt exist at times. Now he treats me badly embarasses me in public when I seem to ignore him, tells me he doesnt like me and eould never take me back. But he tell his friends otherwise he always talks about me says good stuff says he likes me ... so why treat me so badly is it a reaction to how i treat him? or is it a sign that hes over me and doent think of me as much?

Chances are this is how he deals with rejection. He's embarassed that you've delt such a blow to his pride so he embarasses you publically to make himself feel better. He may still want you and that may be why he's dating your good friend.
If he's got this sudden bipolar treatment towards you he's still probably got feeling for you but is trying to get you upset at him so he ca help himself get over it.

He's playing games with you. He needs to choose between you or your friend. He treats you this way just to get a reaction out of you even though it's a dumb way of trying to get someone's attention. He can't have his cake and eat it too because there are too many feelings at stake here.
