What is UPC barcodes from the product packaging and the ESN or serial #s?

I bought two SanDisk SD memory cards. To claim rebate, I need to submit the "UPC barcodes from the product packaging" and the "ESN or serial #s". What are these and where should I look for them?

The Barcode is a series of vertical lines with variable width.
Same as those scanned in a supermarket to give you the price.

The Serial number is shown as SN:xxxxxxxx or S/N: xxxxxx

Look carefully in the packaging or the paper inside the packaging (if the package is plastic) and you can't miss them.
