It depends on the type of leukemia. How old is your cousin? In childhood ALL(acute lymphocytic leukemia) is more common than AML (acute myloid leukemia) and the success rates for chemo therapy are good but not great and it does depend on the type and severity. There are many, many web sites about leukemia you and your family may want to check them out.
Best of Luck to You, and Your Cousin

Leukemia is not 1 disease, but many, with many different stages and individual reactions. Many leukemias are in fact frequently 'cured' now or sent into remission which is usually defined by the 5 year survival rate. Much more information would be required in order to make a prognosis. It would be best if you could speak to her doctor or to someone who understands the details of her particular condition. Good luck!

There are different types of leukemia with different five-year survival rates. However, each person is different. So don't get too worried when reading different rates for each of the leukemias.

The best thing to do is support the person the best you can. For more information, you can go to

That is effective. I rapidly scanned the article since, without a doubt, I must be doing my homework correct now alternatively but~ I fairly hope they do discover a therapy for leukemia, and ultimately all cancers. Cancer is a terrible factor.

Yes, just get her to take emu oil gel caps e tabs daily, emu oil kills cancer cells and is safe to take. One should always consult their doctor before trying anything new.
