I have actually never waxed or sugared my entire body but I have done both brazilian waxes and brazilian sugaring and this is the most sensitive area so it should help. They are both quite uncomfortable at the time, I have to be honest. What I have learned is that waxing takes a fine layer of skin off, along with the hair, while sugaring only removes the hair, thus being slightly more comfortable. From my experience, waxing was a lot less comfortable "after". I felt very raw and tender and had to use an ice pack whereas with sugaring, I was completely comfortable after the procedure was done. No bumps or anything, and I am very pale with sensitive skin. A complete brazilian was $60.00. Waxing was slightly less expensive but not much. The more you do it, the more comfortable they both are because you have weakened the root of the hair. Good luck to you.

Of all the creams/waxes I used to use, Nads sugar wax was the least irritating but it was messy ( I think any sugar wax would do). Now I use an epilator sold by Sharper Image- it's like using an electric shaver, but instead of shaving, it tweezes the hair out. It's less painful than waxing because it pulls only the hair out at a close range and there's no chance of irritation from chemicals because there are no chemicals plus the hair grows back thinner and sparser. Go to http://www.sharperimage.com and check out personal care products. Sharper Image sells a Panasonic wet/dry epilator for $89.95 and the Emjoi Optima for $99.95. They may be pricey, but it's not as pricey as getting a professional wax all the time. If you want permanent hair removal, then my suggestion would be laser hair removal.

Sugar is supposed to be less painful and there will be less reaction for the skin. It can be washed off instead of wiped of like wax. Get it done as a salon that will massage you afterwards. This lessens the after pain. You could look into buying Emla cream which is what tattoo artists use before doing tattoos. Put it on about an hour before and it should soften the pain. You'll have to get a prescription for it, though.
That's gonna be painful anyway and may take more than one session. Why don't you look into laser hair removal?

Well... I'm a guy, and I had my chest and stomach waxed the old-fashioned way; and it hurt a bit, but not enough to keep me from doing it again. And, I wasn't aware one could be waxed with sugar-- that's news to me. I'll have to look at this one again when you choose a best answer.

I heard of a technique called threading that is suppose to have alot less pain with the same results as waxing. It costs about the same.

Traditional waxing is OK, but you should consider laser removal (it is pricey, but if you calculate all traditional waxing sums throughout life ...)
