I am in exactly the same position, I have recently got a 3V Credit Card and its great! www.3vcash.com Its completely free and you don't need to go through a credit check. You get given a swip card, that you take into your local newsagents and 'Top Up'. It costs £3.50 per transaction and you can put on a minumum of £20 and a max of £200. You get given a temporary visa number on a receipt with all the details you need to shop online. Its really good! No hidden charges like a lot of these Pre-Paid Cards!!

why d oyou need a credit card to sell items on ebay. if it is for selling fees well you can pay them via paypal, and you can put funds into your paypal account from your bank account, so you dont need a card.

however, capital one do a guarenteed credit card. it has low balance and high interest, but if you pay it off regularly it helps bring your credit history back up to an acceltable level.

You can simply start a paypal account and put money into it to pay for your listings. I do all my ebay through paypal and once they verify your bank account you're good to go, takes about a week.

Ebay will let you list anything without asking for a dime... when the listing finishes they send you an invoice, you can pay that straight through your paypal account. Good luck, Suz

In the U.S., you can start a bank account with $25.00 and get a debit card to go with it. That's what I use for Ebay. Visit your local bank and see if that's available in the U.K.
