Nobody here can answer this question. It can only be answered by a doctor who has examined you and perhaps run tests. Period. Get to a doctor.

I'd go get that checked. I would want to make sure it isn't a blood clot. Have an xray done right away and that should rule that out.

Maybe you did something and injured a nerve in the hand and if that is all it is, rest your hand for a few days (as if you'd broken it...total rest) and take Advil...but rule out something serious like a blood clot.

Often we do repetitive things in our line of work etc. that takes a toll on parts of our bodies (eg if you type, or have a phone jammed in your shoulder/neck all day) and it's hard to undo those and often we end up injuring nerves and tendons in the long run. But never take anything for granted. Life is too short and you want to err on the side of caution.

yes it could be. i was recently diagnosed with something called ulnar neuropathy. it is an interruption in the nerve conduction from the elbow to the hands. my symptoms were numbness in my 2 last digits of my hands. and a sleeping sensation in them to.
i would go to your doctor and have them tested.

I had something similar going on. I went to the chiropractor and he worked on my neck. Generally if you hand/arm is affected, it is a nerve in C4/5 that is being affected. Check it out with your Chiropractor.
