Mouse button messing up?

Lately I've discovered that my left mouse button doesn't click as easily, I have to push down on it just to click on something...what's up?

It may be full of muck. Poke it out with a pin/paperclip or get a new one.

check to see if there is something lodged in it, have you spilled anything on it??? Or it could just be time for a new mouse.
