I'm not an engineer but a communications major. I work for a state power transmission company in the philippines. I'm trying to compare our region's total substation capacity (which they say is big) to the consumption of other smaller countries. in this case, its 6,587.2MW. 35,400,000,000 kW Hr/year is 35,400,000 Mw Hr /year

Divide by 24*365 (hour/year) is 4,041 Mega watts
