The first argument that always arises against the Christian stance on abortion is, “What about cases of rape and/or incest?” As horrible as it would be to become pregnant as a result of rape and/or incest, does that make the murder of a baby the answer? Two wrongs do not make a right. The child who is a result of rape/incest could be given up for adoption to a loving family unable to have children on their own – or the child could be raised by its mother. Again, the baby should not be punished for the evil acts of its father.
The second argument that usually arises against the Christian stance on abortion is, “What about when the life of the mother is at risk?” Honestly, this is the most difficult question to answer on the issue of abortion. First, let’s remember that this situation is the reason behind less than one-tenth of one percent of the abortions done in the world today. Far more women have an abortion because they do not want to “ruin their body” than women who have an abortion to save their own lives. Second, let’s remember that God is a God of miracles. He can preserve the life of a mother and a child despite all the medical odds being against it. Ultimately, though, this question can only be decided between a husband, wife, and God. Any couple facing this extremely difficult situation should pray to the Lord for wisdom (James 1:5) as to what He would have them to do.
94% of the abortions performed in the world today are for reasons other than the life of the mother being at risk. The vast majority of instances can be qualified under "A woman and/or her partner decide they do not want the baby they have conceived." This is an utmost evil. Even in the more difficult 6% of instances, abortion should never be the first option. The life of a human being in the womb is worth every effort to allow a full-term birthing process.
For those who have had an abortion – the sin of abortion is no less forgivable than any other sin. Through faith in Christ, any and all sins can be forgiven (John 3:16; Romans 8:1; Colossians 1:14). A woman who has had an abortion, or a man who has encouraged an abortion, or even a doctor who has performed one – all can be forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ.

Some people don't believe the same as you. A friend of mine would t have been born of his mother hadn't decided to get an abortion after rape. So to the other answer two wrongs don't make a right is absolutely wrong. God wouldn't have given her a new son if that were true yes? In the bible it also says slavery was fine and in sections of it talks about the killing of pregnant mothers and beating children to death against rocks including babies.

Well there are two meanings of bloody - bloody as an expletive ("bloody hell! you bloody bastard!") or bloody meaning covered in blood ("that fight was really bloody"). The first meaning is considered swearing but the second one isn't. It's classed as very mild swearing in the British Isles though - not even PG rated - and even milder in Australia. Americans (and Canadians?) don't use this word and regard it as an amusing Britishism. I'd heard that the word (in this context) originated from female menstruation but I'm not sure about that. Only the Daily Mail newspaper in Britain bothers to censor the word (writing "bloody" as "b****y"), which is ironic as Mail editor Paul Dacre is notorious among his colleagues as the most potty mouthed man on Fleet Street, with a particular fondness for the "c" word.

You are joking----right. God invented abortion, Jesus / God uses abortion every day in the form of miscarriage. The bible says to follow Jesus and do as he does. There is nothing in the Bible that says abortion is wrong. Some women are raped. Some children are malformed enough to live a painful life. And you think abortion is wrong.
Every dollar spent to save a fetus could have saved 5 loved and wanted kids. When you spend time and money to stop an abortion, you kill those five kids. You think God doesn't expect you to be wise.
Have you read the parable of the talents. Do you know that God frowns on people that are wasteful with money, How do you think he feels about fools that kill 5 wanted children to save one unwanted child..
What do you think that God thinks about people that spread lies about the Bible. Do you think it is a lie to say that the Bible says one thing when it says the opposite? I'll tell you what the Bible says---- it says you will not make it to heaven.
You say I will go to hell, but the Bible says it is you.

Obviously, getting an abortion has to be a very hard decision for anybody with a speck of conscience. But, let's see ... bringing an unwanted child into this world, to suffer because some people got careless and didn't have the ability or will, or whatever, to provide a decent start. I haven't seen anything that gives any evidence of there being any kind of consciousness within the first weeks of fetal development. As for heaven, I don't see anything that points to the existence of such a place. Books written by superstitious, primitive people don't count. Any psychotic could conjure up similar fantasies.
I'm not trying to be mean. You asked, and this is what I believe.

IF you ask that how does anyone expect to go to heaven we all make mistakes and do things we shouldn't. So why should anyone go to heaven then? I don't think abortion is right at all and shouldn't be legal but why condemn those who have made a mistake.

No one, and I mean no one, is beyond God's loving grace. As long as they are alive, there is hope.
Every sin, except for the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, can be forgiven. I know of many women who have had abortions, came to regret them later, and became Christian.
Jesus came to save people from their sins. Even abortion.

How the bloody hell does anybody who thinks they have the right to decide issues for other people expect to go to heaven????
When you offer to pay for the child speak. Until then...shut your yap.
The republican party doesn't seem too prolife when it cuts social programs to SUPPORT those children and mothers.
When I see Christians give up their property and time to take care of the new unwanted babies....I'll listen....
Until then mind your own bloody business.

I have to say this first, I am absolutely against abortion.
However it can't be an easy decision. I don't think any sin is worse than another.
Anyone can be forgiven, the big part in this particular case is the woman needs to first forgive herself.
God Bless

Oh good grief. Reality shows embryos are no big deal in the universal scheme of things since nature (AKA your 'god') tosses out 50% of the fertilized eggs in the first place. Is god kicked out of heaven because he does that? THINK!
BTW, everyone goes to heaven.
