My sons federal income tax was with held due to back child support. The problem is that he has NO child. HELP?

I have know people with this problem and it is not easy to correct. Suggest that you hire an attorney, but make sure they will do it for a flat fee and a guanantee to fix the problem.

Call the IRS. It's possible he's the victim of identity theft and somebody else is using his social security number.

to correct this problem, i would write the states Child Support Office, Attorney General, Governor and the Regional FEDERAL Child Support Office.

one letter, to all of them. give contact info, and the problem. keep writing until they correct this!!
