I am popular. Theres a difference between popular and prep. A prep is the girls who always have the hottest boyfriend or they always get what they want. At my school we had a poll if you think a person is lame or cool. Most of the preps were put on the lame list because they don't care about how hard some people have it. All they worry about is if they have on the right clothes or if they have on the best make-up. Me myself I am considered popular but not a prep. I help people donate money to the poor and do charity a lot to. I even go to nursing homes and play games with the residents sometimes.People like me because I dont try to be something I am not. So thats what you need to do. I know that you probably want a boyfriend. But don't try to make a guy like you for what your not. If you get a hard time from a guy then just forget about him. Its not just a piece of cake to get a boyfriend for me either. But its not hard to keep a relationship if its a good one. I am 13 and have been dating the same guy for almost two years. If you just be yourself you will have it easier than you think. =) Great question.

It's just a popularity thing. And I bet 9/10 times the relationship doesn't last long, right? Don't worry, it just means that when you're older, or out of your school where there are decent guys, u will meet guys who take time getting to know you, which makes it more special:)

Make no mistake, popular girls are the ones that are out there. Whether they have respect or not, they shine. Most of the time they are the girls who dare to live, they know everybody or everyone wants to know them and their business. Most guys shine off those types of girls. Some of them are even bullies. Stay in your own place, your still shining Take your time and continue to demand and command your respect. Your day to shine bright will come and the respect will be there.

It wont always be this way. I remember it was that way when I was in middle school but in high school it changed. And After high school it really really changed. Their relationships are all about being popular and not anything substantiol. Try not to let it bother you and dont go for those guys.

i think they do. but they don't let it show. there's almost nothing more attractive to a guy than a girl who is confidant in herself. those popular girls are confidant in themselves and how they know HOW to present their question (way easier said than done!) everybody feels vulnerable is some way but letting it show makes a big difference as to what and how the other person reacts!

Everyone is basing everything on looks and popularity and not looking at peoples personalities.
