I am getting a new HD Ready Sony Bravia, and am not sure what the best way to connect my 360 and laptop to it would be.

There is only one HDMI , and I know that my 360 would have to be connected to it if I wanted to enjoy the HD quality - which I do. The thing is, I also would like to play HD videos on my laptop on my LCD, in HD quality.... I'm not sure whether for it to be HD quality if it would have to be connected to the HDMI or if it could be connected to a scart or the pc input.

Please advise me on the best way to connect them both up?

two things you can do

Get the new sony bravia with 2 hdmi inputs, or look on the web for a hdmi splitter.

That way you can enjoy both in hd.

Hope this helps wg

The current XBox 360 does not have hdmi output, so in order to get hd from the xbox it would have to be over component or vga connection. I would connect the xbox 360 using component cables and the laptop through vga. This way you can get 1080p on your 360 for games, even though you couldn't get 1080p over component for movies you have your laptop for that. You will need a male-male vga cable for this.

Component or HDMI (if available) for 360
VGA for laptop.

All can be in HD.
