My instinct is a single Rolaid would not harm a cat (assuming their digestive system works the same as that of a human does). The only problem is, since they obviously have a smaller stomach than a human does, if they were to eat multiple Rolaids, then I could see it potentially being a problem.

Your best bet would be to ask your veterinarian. However, I'd just to be very careful not to shake the bottle too much when getting Rolaids from it. (Perhaps go into a corner of the house where the sound doesn't carry well?)

Medication made for humans should NEVER be given to a cat.
Your cat doesn't want a rolaid or a tum, she just hears the sound and thinks it's her treats.

DO NOT give your cat a Rolaid or Tum just to find out what would happen....you may be very sorry if you do give her one.
She could get very sick and you'd have to take her to the Vet which could result in a high Vet bill that could have been avoided.

don't give her the tums, cut her treats in 2's,also buy ur tums/Rolaids in rolls not bottle's or if u have to buy the bottle one's when u get home take them out of the bottle and put hem in a plastic bag in the med cab.so she doesn't here the shaking of the bottle.

your cat won't have indigestion.

A friend of mine gives her dog's 1 rolaid if they have real bad gas.

As for your cat getting mad, she'll get over it or just go get her treats.
