When I got my first cat, I was told that if I treated him like a dog, he'd act like a dog. Let me tell you, my cat was so cool because of this. He always rode in the car with me, loved to get a bath, walked on a leash, and loved fetching his toys. I was pleasantly surprised that my cat was so easily trained.

Yeah its normal for you to walk your cat on a leash. I know a few people that do the same thing as you

Yes it's normal. My kitten is on leash training as well but he plays fetch since 8 weeks old without anyone teaching him. He just kept on bringing his toys to us until we finally got it.

Yes, it's very normal for a cat to play fetch and walk on a leash.
The only thing I'd recommed is to get your cat a harness instead of a collar to walk him...cats can slip out of collars very easily.

My cat likes to play in water, and used to use a doggie door to go out and stay in our fenced yard with the dogs. .... so, I guess either it is normal for cats to mimic dogs behavior when that is all they are raised with or I too have an abnormal feline.

Cats aren't given their due credit. They are actually very trainable.
I have a friend whose cat uses and flushes the toilet. Pretty freaky when you first witness it, but great, no more litter box.

when I first got my cat, she was a kitten and she would fetch as well. unfortunetly, she grew out of it, and couldn't be bothered about it anymore.
