Well, one no one has disproved anything. There has been no proof for god, just like there has been no disproof for god. That would be the agnostic view of God. They neither believe nor disbelieve, they just want to be proof that he is there.
I am an agnostic Atheist. I lean more to the side that there is no god. I hold no grudges against any god, whether it be a Christian god or a Muslim God. I find all religions equally lacking a proof of their claims.
Many times I know that Christians feel targeted for Atheist to try and disprove the existence of their god, but the truth is that most Atheist are just fighting the biggest demographic. More often than not, it is not a Paganistic Witch who is arguing with me that their god exists, it is a Christian, so they are more often targeted.
To be fair to Atheist, we are all actually really nice people, we just lack the same faith in religion that most people have in the world.

I don't thing there is a way to generally disprove a specific or general God. There is also no way to disprove the existance of a large teapot orbiting close to the Sun(Bertrand Russel) or most other negative type proofs. If you think about it all of these religions disprove each other. They all claim the exclusive and ultimate truth. They can not all be right, but they all believe that they are.

Well really an atheist doesn't have to disprove anything. It's up to the people making the extraordinary claims to find the extraordinary evidence.
The existence of a god cannot be disproved, because a god doesn't technically have to exist in a physical sense or impact on anything in a measurable way.

I don't believe in any god, there is no rational evidence of the existence of any of the current or past man-made gods. There is a difference between disproving and a lack of evidence for existence in the first place.

I can't disprove the existance of God, but it seems very unlikely to me. However the Christian idea of the trinity seems even more unlikely to me than the idea of a single God like in Islam and Judaism.
Also the idea of a hell for non-believers like in Christianity and Islam seems soooo unlikely to me that it really can't scare me.
I might be wrong and there might be some higher being, but that this being would torture anyone eternally for not believing in it seems totally absurd to me.

There are things that have been shown to be wrong in the Bible. But it is not possible to prove anything doesn't exist. There is no evidence that there is a god. It isn't rational or reasonable to believe in things without any evidence to back it up. You would be stuck with hundreds of thousands of gods and everything else that human imagination could come up with.
Not believing in god, is the same as not believing in Odin, Zeus, Ra, Hera, The Great Spirit, Osiris, The Flying Spaghetti Monster and all the others. I would be no less surprised of evidence of Odin was found than I would be if evidence of your god was.

By reducing the arguement for god to an absurdity.
I believe in invisible pink unicorns that fly and hold up the birds in the sky. You believe in a giant guy with a long beard and deep voice that made the world with his hands. There is a chance of god, but the idea of one is absurd and nonsensical.
The christian god is an internal contradiction. He says he is loving and merciful, yet demands the deaths of disobedient kids and gays. He says jesus died on the cross to absolve all our sins, but we only get that preferential treatment if we believe in him, with little or no evidence. He says he answers prayers, but scientific studies have long since disproved this, and so on.

I'm agnostic, but I'm sure the answer will be the same.
We haven't disproved anything.
We don't want to disprove anything.
We just don't accept a God. We don't accept any God.
We won't accept something without evidence until we experience it.
If we didn't accept a Christian God, but did accept the other Gods, we wouldn't be atheist and agnostic...we'd be pantheist.

To be an atheist obviously means to refuse believing in ANY god.
But it does not mean that one has to make the effort to disprove a god. I don't need to disprove everything I don't believe in.
