She applied it on very heavy and did it allot through out the day. When i seen it i had her through it away. My wife bought it for her. When she woke up in the morning her bottom lip was completly covered in a scab. Any reason why. Is it because she gave herself like a rug burn on her lip with it. Any Ideas

I don't know allergy or not. But my guess would be, especially if it was a flavored kind, that the taste on her lips made her chew them through the night making them raw. Once the flavor was gone she stopped chewing on them and it scabbed over.

Either way it would be a good thing to get checked out as knowing what your child is and isn't allergic to is important.

She may had tried eating (sucking, licking and biting lip) it off her lip in her sleep. I've seen little kids do this because many of the chapsticks have scents and flavors. Or she could have caused the scabbing bye applying the chapstick repetitively and pulling the delicate skin on her lips causing little tears that bled in the night.
You can try having her hold a warm wet wash rag to her lip for 5 minutes then gently wipe dab the lip clean. And apply Carmex to her lip for a day or two and it should heal up.

Nothing more germy than lipsticks/chap sticks. She possibly had an allergic reaction, or even got a staph infection from it. Try Cleaning her lip with some hydrogen peroxide, then dabbing some neosporine cream on her lip, and give an antihistamine, in case of allergic reaction.

I doubt the chapstick caused it. If it looks like something the doc should see then take her to ER or urgent care to get it checked. She probably licked her lip a zillion times and could have caused it.

Its also possible that somebody wanted to hide something which happened to the lip.

if you put on too much it will actually dry out your lips. no worries though it will heal quickly.
