Bad things have always been happening....its just your state of mind. We see bad things going on all over the world because you have easier access to the media. Do you think there has never been a tsunami before? Do you think people have never died before? hahahahahahaha, People 50 years ago though the world was gonna end soon. People in the time of Jesus thought that the end of the world was soon. Everything in the bible is just a story.

This is only the end of and Age, the 6th Age. The 7th and final Age is just beginning, however, the 7th Age is only half time.
The 6th Age ended December 31, 1959 at 12:01 am. The season of rest begin 1680 AD,
The 4 gospels tell you there are 6 seasons or 42 generations of work and 1 season 7 generations of Rest.
You are correct, Jesus told us that the next event will take place in summer, the first was in winter, and that the event after that will be the fall of the United States and the Vatican.
Since the beginning of the 7th Age (1960) there have been 9 Presidents and 7 Popes, the Next President (10th) of the United States shall fall to Gog (China) and Magog (Russia).
The Next President will be elected in November 2008, and take office January 1, 2009 at 12:01 am
Daniel and Jesus both say that the year of the Blessed shall be the 2800 AD.

Historically every culture has had a view toward the "end times". When Alaric invaded Rome in 410 CE (of the common era...AD isn't really used by historians anymore), people thought that was the end. Then the year 1000 CE hit, that was going to be the end. Plague came in 1347-50, that was to be the end. The year 2000 CE was supposed to be the end. Every time in history, anywhere in the world, someone's got an idea of when the end is coming. All of them have been wrong as yet.
One of my favorite sayings is "who are we to know the mind of God?". When it's meant to happen it will happen. "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven" (Ecclesiastes 3:1). We will probably have no warning and won't even know it's happening. Look at planets and stars elsewhere. When they are done, they just go. They turn into black holes and empty space. I think it's best to focus on what one can do in life rather than worry about the end times.

This is a man-made concept no different from other religious and secular beliefs in the end days. We are so wrapped up in our mortality that we create systems which make us feel better about the inevitable end like the Book of the Dead, life after the Rapture and so on.
Live life to the full, harm no one and maximise every positive opportunity and help others to do the same.
The Earth will be destroyed by natural phenomena or a man made catastrophe, either way you could call it an act of God but the belief in Armageddon is older than Christianity and we're still here.
More Peace

People have been pointing to 'signs' that the end of the world is nigh since biblical times and probably before that as well. I do not know when that will happen, nor does anyone else. There will be other towers that will fall and other massive waves as well all we can do as human beings is to try and help the survivors and then just get on with the business of living. The world will end when it ends and foreseeing it just isn't going to help matters

I don't know. Revelation is hard to understand, and people like to speculate about it, as its very dramatic.
There is an interesting quote in Isaiah 30 that seems to indicate that God is going to restore and heal His people at the time of great slaughter when towers fall. So there's a load of trouble going on but God is actually doing a work of peace and restoration even whilst everything looks violent and horrible. Its context is sort of talking about something else, but may have a double meaning:
(New International Version)
Isaiah 30:25 In the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall, streams of water will flow on every lofty hill. The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people, and heals the wounds He inflicted.

The Indian scriptures give the most accurate description of this time as “Kali Yuga”, the age of darkness when mankind plummets to the depths of depravity, war, disease and greed. This time however, also heralds the dawning of a new age “Satya Yuga”, the age of Truth, a time when all corruption, deceit and ungodliness is exposed and eradicated. We can all see the global problems we face today in social, medical, political and spiritual turmoil and at the same time how everything is being exposed, one might say, shouted from the rooftops.
Those who are superficial and easily distracted by the temptations our societies now offer will be the seeds that fell on fertile soil but were choked by the weeds that grew up around them. Best is to be a wise Virgin whose lamp is full of oil and whose wick is trimmed and ready for ignition.
This age also has the Comforter and Councillor who will teach you all things. Just seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened unto to you.

No, the Bible says that no-one will know when it comes.
As for those things happening, they have always happened ie the tsunami, it just fits into your little theory because you want it to...If you really want to, you can make anything seem like a conspiracy of some sort or of significant importance, see the question about number 23

lol I don't know alot of people thinks its 2012, but then again there have been hundreds of apocalyptic predictions that have fallen short. To me this next 2012 thing is just another thing for people to gossip about, and I refuse to take it seriously until I see some major signs like say maybe....the antichrist? Anyway the time is near, how near is the question.

It could well be!
The events that are unrolling in present time, the massing of the 'Anti-Christ'; the way we are being steered toward accepting 'The Mark' and all the other little things that are nothing on their own, but when you string them altogether, you could end up with a very convincing conclusion!
The Bible tells us to keep our eyes and ears open, to keep watching and waiting; but it also tells us that Jesus said only 'The Father' Himself knows when that time will be, that not even the Angels in Heaven know the day or the time.
It's God's business, not ours!

Very near the world has gone haywire.
My predictions Great suffering, fire, winds, innocent will suffer as the guilty the earth will boil followed by water the air will become stale.
And a new world will form and only those that have survived they will be the ones to rebuild.
