First off, I don't believe He left a mess behind, as I don't believe He's left. He's still paying attention and working hard.
And also, something that was stressed since the Creation was the simple fact that there can be no joy without opposition. How can you really know what happiness feels like without first knowing sorrow?
And as others have said, we came to this earth with God's promise that we would have agency - the ability to chose our actions. What kind of God would He be if He broke His promise to keep any little thing from happening to us? Is life not supposed to be a test; what test isn't hard?
And NEVER forget that He gave up His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON to save us. Could you send your child someplace, KNOWING he was going to suffer EXTREME pain to save some people you didn't even care about? No, of course not. You would have to care deeply for those people, just as God loved us enough to give up His Son.

God didn't leave behind this mess, we did! Everyone makes mistakes, some bigger that others.
Think about it: if you were a parent, would you let your child learn to ride a bike? He might break his leg, or hit someone else, or crash into a car. Of course you would, even though there would be many dangers. Does this mean you don't love your kid? NO! It's your LOVE that makes you WANT your child to make mistakes, so that he can learn from them and become an individual.
Same with God. When He created us, there were so many things that could - and did - go wrong. But it's His endless love that makes Him not fix things.

Its not him who left it behind. We as humans are the cause of all this. We ignore genocides, start wars, continue racism, and can't get over a fact and still debate. These are us,humans. So if we can't fix problems ourselves by looking inside of us, then that's our problem not god. He created all humans with minds, its how we use it that makes a difference.

We have created problems for ourselves and as petty human nature we blame it on God.Endless debate, etc.,are our internal issues /conflicts.
You asked this question that means you believe in God.
To question a thing ;it should exist in the first place; so,there you go!
you know God is real. You have a Doubt that God loves you or not ; but God is Sure that He loves you.
exercise your faith.Questioning is good to attain more knowledge.
Try to Love God and you will definitely see wonders in your life, coz Love it self is Miraculous.
GOD BLESS.

God didn't cause all of that stuff to go on,man did.
Stop blameing God for what man has caused and if you don't believe in God then fine, that is between you and God but just because you choose not to believe that doesn't mean that God doesn't exist and who are you to judge God in the first place you little piss ant.

Don't blame God for what man has done. He didn't want this for us. . .we chose to live selfish, self-centered lives apart from Him.
He loves us and sent us His Son so that we can live in peace. But as usual, the human race thinks it knows better than God and keeps on rejecting Him.

That big mess it's all men made, because men love the darkness more than the light. God loves us He proved it 2000 years a go and we just kill Him.

God has left nothing behind and nothing undone. If you believe that he has, then you are a Deist---you believe that God has abandoned us. Trust me, he is standing right next to you. All you have to do is talk to him in a quiet voice.

Whatever gave you the idea G-d had something to do with it? Everybody blames G-d for what happens. G-d gave us a planet and free will. What we do with it is up to us. G-d has always been known as The Creator, not The Maintainer.
