"Absent prohibitions or restrictions by law, the rights and priviledges contained in this Constitution apply only to US Citizens and lawfully present aliens."

One of the major problems with illegals is that they are entitled to almost as many rights as US Citizens.

This amendment would allow "instant" deportation instead of months (at taxpayer's expense) of detention.

Catch them and immediately kick them out!

Please feel free to forward this proposed amendment to any and everyone!

When someone breaks into your home and you shoot them are you denying them basis human rights?

When an illegal alien breaks into our country, they do so willingly just as the burglar!

The bastardization of the intent of the 14th amendment also needs to be addressed. I like your amendment a lot. It certainly clarifies any and all confusion doesn't it ?
May I forward it to my congressmen and senators in Washington ?

No it won't solve the problem because we still need the will to enforce the laws flowing from the constitution. If we had the guts to do that, as we should, there would be no need for your amendment.

I think it is a slippery slope to deny people basic human rights (which is what the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights, is all about) to someone simply because of immigration status.

EDIT: Just seen the additional details. You don't get it do you? I'm an immigrant (a legal one). I get annoyed at illegals and their corporate paymasters buggering up the economy. That is still no excuse to deny people the basic human rights that this country was founded to defend.

just have one question in regards to that. would that include all children born here who's parents are illegal aliens? because lately that seems to be a major problem that a lot of people bring up. wether or not children of illegal aliens should be considered U.S citizens just because there were born here.
