Both are true. The real question then is, which came first? I received Him and felt His love first, I think. My faith has been a growing process ever since. Don't be discouraged if faith comes hard sometimes, or if it is challenged. It, like you, only becomes stronger when it survives adversity. That love is what will sustain you in the times when your faith is weak.

Both. In order to receive Jesus and feel his love, you need to have the faith to believe in him and his teachings.

My gardener Jesus? Yes, I had faith in his judgement when he said we needed to add lime to the soil, my roses never looked better. As far as receiving his love goes, I'm pretty sure he doesn't swing that way.

Christs words were straight from the father the creater God the supreme being the begining the end . he was God in spirit and his love is a real thing that can be felt by the smallest of giveing yourself over to his will. one cant feel one or do one without the other . we worry too much about names places and truths without understanding that his words and life had a standard purpose meant to be realized . he knew his words his life his message would be twisted by men for thier own purposes . the important thing is to understand that he was real and he paid the price so we can make it to heaven much simpler and easier than before and that with faith we too can do his same works . i look to Christ as my saver redeemer and my king and the one being that loved me so much he gave up everything to save me . we owe him more than we as humans can ever repay but all he asks is for us to love him back with faith and he will take care of all the rest .

I felt god alright but at that time I was very insecure and emotionally unstable, and I imagined his presence during a nervous breakdown. It's taken me about 3 years to fully recover and be confident about myself, and I've been an atheist for about a year now
