I meet a lot of guys who tell me what a great person I am and that I just have to look and I will find someone. The odd thing is that these are guys that I have met online and that I have alot in common with. I am not a teenager, I'm 41 and been hearing this for many years. I know I'm not that great of a person but why if I am that great, why don't these guys want me rather than suggesting how I should meet other guys?

It could be a number of things. It may be that the guys you are talking to are already married or something and just looking to talk dirty online. When you turn out to be a nice person they push away politely. Meeting online isn't the best way, you may have a lot in common but the personal 'spark' is really important.

Maybe they don't want a long distance/internet relationship.
