Firstly guys, please its Qantas not Quantas! (it stands for Queensland and Northern Territories Aerial Services)
Secondly a previous answer mentions Air transport world. Thats probably the best answer so far.
You asked what has the "highest Quality"...thats a tricky question to answer as "Quality" is defined by the user and everyone is different and has a different perception of Quality.
Some people may think Quality is arriving safely ALWAYS...that would be Qantas then. (though Qantas did have a 747 overrun the runway in Bangkok).
Others might say Quality is having leather seats or a fantastic inflight entertainment systems. For others Quality might mean the meal or the cabin service or the on time performance, type of plane or even the age of the cabin crew!
A lot of people think it is the price - but you have already said that that does not matter.
What Im getting at is that Quality really depends on the beholder!
Read the ATW as a previous answer suggested. They review airlines based on a number of criteria.
...then Fly Qantas! : )
(and you can fly us between NYC and LAX in the States)

Every year the industry gives an award for the top airline of the previous year. I believe Air France won the last time. A lot of things are taken into consideration like on time performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The leading magazine for this subject is available on line. It's called AIR TRANSPORT WORLD MAGAZINE.

sinapore airlines by far, Quantas are right up there too, flown them both personally, aeromexico was better than mexicana, but if somebody asked me to fly cubana, id walk... by far the best airline owner who gave a **** and tried to do the right thing for his passengers with low cost flights and good service was Freddie Lakers Sky-Train. British Airways put him out of business in the 80's but i think he's still flying into the bahamas, check him out on yahoo images

best airline = singapore airlines
best plane = A380
best airline plane configuration = singapore airlines B777-300ER flying SIN-ZUR and SIN-Paris and A380 when it comes out in Oct 07. the fully reclinable business class seats are amazing and the first class seats are nearly as big as a single bed when fully reclined. economy isn't too shabby too.

Panasonic, yet they the two are very sturdy in terms of build high quality. Panasonic television's are quite sturdy for photograph and build high quality, yet they don't tend to look as eye-catching as LG's and Samsung's.
