explain to her she is trying to hard, tell her how you feel and I'm sure if will help you to understand her also, this way here you bother know where your coming from and what you both expect form each other things will be a lot smoother for you and your dad too. good luck

Well I yell at my kids when they miss the bus also. Ask yourself if your mom would be upset for the same things your step mom is upset about. Weather or not she is your real mom, she is still the woman of the house, and her responsibilities include making sure you get to school. Does she also make sure you have clothes to wear and that they are clean? Does she also make sure there is food in the house for you to eat? Does she also make sure that your house is clean and a comfortable place to live? You cannot just have it nice all the time. Sometimes people in our lives get upset with us. Stop throwing it in her face that she is not your real mom, or that she was dating your Dad when he was married to you Mom. Good grief that was over a decade ago. Stop beating a dead horse. Be grateful that some one cares enough about you to yell. No relationship is perfect, and you don't seem to want this one to work out.

Take it easy onher. I am sure she is just trying her best. You could talk to her and tell her how you feel but she is a guardian of you whether you like it or not. You dad married her so you cant do anything but make the best out of the situation. Imagine how hard it must be for her.

Have you had issues with her before this, like major ones??? Have you tried to have a family discussion about how your feeling? This may be helpful, where everyone, sits and someone has the talking rock, and no-one else is allowed to speak unless they have the rock in hand, there fore no interruptions.
I hope this helps, Take care. I know it sounds lame, but it does work.

she is trying to be a good parent and mother and wife and its got to be stressful for her. its not easy going into a family like she has and try to fit in. try to let her know she is doing a good job and dont give her the chance to yell at you for doing wrong. hopefully whne your an adult you wont have to go through the stuff she is now.
