This is no good. I installed Norton AntiVirus 2007 on three computers. One of them is no longer in use as a new one has been purchased. When I install it on the new computer it says I have exceeded the number of comptuers i can install to. But I am not using on of them anymore so I am still within the 3 computer limit. How can I resolve this without buying a new key?

Doesn't matter if you're using it or not. It counts the number of installs by looking at the computer's MAC address.

Norton AntiVirus is crap to start with. It bogs the computer down. There are many better alternatives out there.

Don't bother with the 2nd response, as Norton (since 2006) can detect pirated and illegal copies of their products and will shut the security down.

Agree with the above answer. But if you must keep Norton you may have to contact their support techs and tell them your situation. They should be able to assist you with this.
