Knowing myself as a muslim, I think it is wrong that yu should be ditiching our religion and calling it "the wrong way to go"..if yu have a religion well that's yur choice...if yu dont thats yur choice also..just dont go saying bad things about a religion yu dont know anythin about!that is rude and uncalled for.Us muslims accept that there is christianity and jewish and jehova witness and catholic.we accept that yu have yur own religion or even if yu dont...we accept that aswell...but we dont go on the internet and post horrible comments about yur religion...i just want it to stop..itz nonsense!

I think that for the most part people who hate a certain religion are either severly misinformed or at times they are just hateful people. I read some of the things people ask and answer about my beliefs as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and at times it makes me laugh. Some of the answers are funny they are so far off. Others are just down right hurtful.

I'm a Shia Muslim from a Christian family. I'm hated by most non-Muslims and by some (usually Wahhabi) Sunni Muslim.
People just hate the truth; its that simple.
It may also be the fufilling of a prophecy in which it states that Muslims will be the majority (expected to happen in 2050, give or take some years) yet the most hated.
Also, it may be a test from Allah (swt). He may wish to test our faith to see how we cope with ll this hatred, so that He may "purge out the hypocrites from the believers" (as He states in the Qur'an).

Actually Babbi Muslims do spread lies about Christians and Jews and your religion is an insult to the true God of Abraham. So if insulting someones faith is the issue then Islam has insulted my God since it's inception in 600 AD. The God Allah is happily deceiving and is happy with lies he is not righteous and says he is my God...would you find that insulting? I definitely do and I would not mind yo worshiping the devil or any other God so long as your Satan does not claim to be my righteous God. When he claims to be God he has to live up to being perfect and righteous and if he does not I will quickly point him out as a liar and deceiver and an Anti Christ and Satan and if this truth offends you it is because you don't have the truth in you. I definitely do not hate Muslims but pray that they will come out of the darkness and be delivered to the truth of Jesus Christ.

Muslims are hated the world over because of all the suffering and bloodshed they cause. Take a look at the Shia and Sunni "muslim brothers" who are slaughtering each other on a daily basis.
Islam is an evil cult. Islam is a plague.

Stupidity and fear.. I feel anyone that judges another person on their skin color, sexual orientation or religion is about a dumb as you can get. It seems that yahoo is chalked full of idiots and even more people who refuse to report them for the crap that comes out of their mouth. I for one am sorry you are treated horrible for your religion. It is one of the reason this world is getting worse by the day. Stay beautiful and no matter what don't let it turn you into one of them. Your actions will reflect who you are inside and even if only one person changes their views on Muslims after meeting you than you have done a good job.

Muslims have had a lot of bad press lately. People are afraid of things that they do not know. Hence people are afraid of Muslims.
You, as a muslim may accept that others have different faiths whether or not you agree with them, and I as a christian may accept that others have different faiths. However, there are people of every religion who are not like this.
And I agree with you, that we should treat each other with love and respect. That is one thing that our religions have in common.

Ignorance. Most people that begin to curse me for wearing my scarf then respect me when i clear their misconceptions. And second reason are Muslims themselves. Some Muslims are just very ignorant about the religion itself and represent it in a mean way. and the media obviously.

i don't think there is any one religion which teaches to hate another, if you do but know inside that you shouldn't as someone above said, then you are still ignorant to the teachings of that religion. otherwise you wouldn't say such harsh things as detesting a religion. people who genuinely are tolerant don't say things like that
