why is there only one "m" on each M&M?

This is just a guess but...

The candy is called M&M's (with an "s"), so each piece is just an "M" and they are implying you are supposed to eat them one after another, M&M&M&M&M&M etc...

Also, their website lets you design your own M&M's so you could probably send them a picture of "M&M" and get as many M&M's you want with the "correct" terminology printed on them.

i actrually know the answer to that.
But first i will explaine how m&m's where created. A man named Forrest Mars Sr saw an american man eating a chocolte drop covered in sugre so it didn't stick to his fingers.
so he decided to buy the idea.
and that is how the m&m's where created.
And why the m&m's where called this is because it is the last name initilas of the creaters which is:
Forrest Mars Sr. and R. Bruce Murrie
And there is 1 m on the m&m because there was never any room on the sweat so they just had the 1

Because you're supposed to eat a bunch of them at once, and when they're in the bowl or your hand or whatever it looks like an orgy of M's! That's what the company wanted. An orgy, melting in your mouth, not your hand!
