Someone recently asked if God (and I assume that means the Abrahamic deity) loves atheists... so now I'm wondering if Quetzalcoatl loves Christians.

Oh, and for those who don't know, Quetzalcoatl is the Feathered-Serpent deity of ancient Mesoamerican culture.

When Spanish soldiers came invading, bringing along Jesuits - when Cortez's people and descendents started mass slaughter, indoctrination and near-slavery of His followers,

I'm sure it was then that Quetzalcoatl said, "Hmmm... these Christians are a swell bunch..."

Quetzalcoatl loves the blood of Christians, just as he loves of the blood of any unwilling sacrifice.

First, thank you for your condescending explanation of Quetzalcoatl, for those of us that you presume to be ignorant and unlearned and beneath you in general. Second, I believe that the big "Q", as those of us who know him well like to call him, is ambivalent on the whole topic of religion, but does love nachos and cheese. Especially jalapeno cheese. If you ever want to get on his good side, just take him over a jumbo platter of nachos and jalapeno cheese dip. Worked for me.

As long as you sacrifice a goat now and then, old Q is fine with you.
