I would go on-line to DrsFosterSmith.com. Look in catalog number K=2590/3178 and start at page 150 if they allow you to pick a page. They have heated beds or bed heaters. They have a thermo bed on page151. I use their catalog for everything.
My dog had arthritis and I tried other things but the best is a heater. Just be sure your dog isn't a chewer. If so they have a Snuggle Safe Microdisc that stays warm for hours after it is heated in the microwave.

I would research the Gel Pedic Bed or a Memory Foam Bed, it depend on what way your dog sleeps, if he nests the gel pedic if he sleeps flat out a rectangle memory foam bed. Good Luck I just reasearched this for my 11 year old Border Collie.

Ask your vet about magnetic pads. I had to remove the one on display in my groom shop because the dogs just wanted to lie on it all of the time. Many of the larger ones actually refused to get up once they found it. It seems they like the magnetic action. Haven't used one myself but I do know some people who have them under their mattresses and claim that it's the sleep that they have ever had. They're a little expensive.
