Have a 03 jeep libertey and the tail light and parking light went out at same time not the bulb?

There a sealed box by it any ideas what could of happened rest of lighting works fine

check if parking lights and tail lights use the same fuse.
if so its probably the fuse

THE CONTACTS ARE NOT TOUCHING THE LIGHT BULB, THERE FORE NO CURRENT IS MOVING THROUGH THE BULB. ALL U HAVE TO DO IS TAKE THE LIGHT BULB OUT OF THE SOCKET AND TAKE A SMALL FLAT HEAD SCREW DRIVER AND SLIGHTLY BEND THE METAL CONNECTIONS TOWARD EACH OTHER THEN THE LIGHT BULD SHOULD BE REPLACE BACK INTO THE SOCKET AND THE TAIL LIGHT BE REASSEMBLED AND IT SHOULD FIT SNUGLY.

Parking and tail lights are the same thing.
Bad fuse.....or switch.
