Hi .... I recently got my hair chemically straightened ...it looked great for the first 3 days ....but after i washed it ...it became kind of wavy ...and now (after 3 weeks) its slowly going back to its old state (curly) ...is there a way by which i can get it permenentely straightened so that it will last for at least a few months ?

rebonding should last longer. maybe the treatment you got was just a relax.

ask the beautician on how to maintain your straightened hair.

It should last - however I guess if its really curly to start with it would be a bit wavy after a wash.

There is no chemical straightening treatment that will get it as poker straight as GHD do etc...

Be careful with getting it done as it is really strong chemicals and does ruin your hair condition.

Make sure you get a good conditioning treatment to use on it like a hair mask that you can use once a week to keep it looking good.

Good luck :) I love straight hair its great! Im a GHD addict thou!!! :) But even that ruins your hair as they are sooo hot... make sure ya use heat protector spray with them!

Yes there is. Any "upscale" salon will offer this. But you get what you pay for. I know a girl who has it done every couple months (curliest, kinkiest hair I've ever seen) and she pays at least 300.00 per visit. DO NOT try to find a bargain on this. You will get what you pay for. Plus you don't want to go to a ratbag salon and destry your hair just to save a few bucks.

You can go to certain haridressers and get a chinese perm. Make sure it isnt a really cheap crappy one or else it will fall out. I had one and it stayed super staright for about 6 months ! Its worth it !
