Help with chinese symbols???!!?

Question

i like chinese symbols and i even have a necklace with one symbolizing happiness....I would like to find out about more symbols like health and creativity....love and stuff like that...I looked online on dictionaries but all these words are written with letters not with symbols..i need symbols, not just letters from the chinese alphabet which in combination mean these words...Do you have any links to give me? please, not another dictionary...

I think that Chinese characters are often misunderstood, combined incorrectly, and incorrectly diagnosed with meanings by Westerners. A good example of this would be a certain former Spice Girl's tattoo, 女 力, which, directly translated, characer by character, would mean "Girl Strength," but was intended to mean "Girl Power." It was a tattoo that had many Chinese linguists scratching their heads, as much at the strange, ignorant combination of the characters as the fact that Westerners, as a whole, tend to assign entire meanings to individual characters that are never used individually (美, for example, which girl accessories tend to define as "beautiful," but a chinese person would more likely use the phrase 美麗).
